Let me preface by saying, its about the image itself and not the media the image is printed. Even the definition of photography to contain radiant energy - what the hell? (definition)
Last time I checked Photography was graphing with light, i.e. Photo=light and Graph=marking or graphing. What is Radiant energy? Well by Webster anything that basically emits a "radiant energy to a surface is a photograph or part of photography. In that case let me just start changing definitions to fit my life just because it fits, this is ridiculous.
I am a photographer, I create photographs on light sensitive material. Nothing to do with radiant energy. Photographs are on a porous surface that contains materials that leave a image.
My two cents!
